On Friday (29/09/24), Shweta.N , studying Masters of occupational therapy (Paediatrics) conducted a seminar for Orphanage adolescents in PremaVasam about the importance of menstrual hygiene and the issues caused when there is a lack of menstrual hygiene practice. Poor menstrual hygiene can pose serious health risks, like reproductive and urinary tract infections which can result in future infertility and birth complications, the importance of handwashing to reduce infections was also implemented in the seminar.
