The group therapy sessions conducted at the department of Oncology by students studying occupational therapy, these sessions were a safe space for individuals dealing with mental health issues to come together. We did exercises and practiced calming breathing techniques, which helped reduce stress. We learned useful skills to manage our mental well-being, and it was great to connect with others facing similar challenges. These sessions showed us how physical and mental health are connected, giving us hope for a better, more balanced life. The students leading the sessions were supportive, making it a valuable experience for all.
